Macquarie Group is a large multinational financial service business. They have afew branches but I work at Banking & Financial Services (BFS) division, within the core banking team. We handle the core functionality and maintenance of business banking. I've learnt to be a very flexible engineer here - UNIX, SQL, Cloud, Shell scripting & Programming are all apart of the job.

• Developed and tested Spring API within a microservice architecture.
• Actioned various tasks within Solaris UNIX, Redhat Linux environments.
• Develop and improve shell/kornshell scripts within batch process.
• Assist migrate Macquaries on-prem infrastructure to the cloud.
• On call prod maintenance & resolution using SumoLogic, Appdynamics.
• Executed queries and data changes using Sybase, Presto & RDS SQL databases.

Prospecta software specialises in master data governance. When I was working there, they were in the process of revamping their software architecture and product vision. They were in the process of moving from a monolithic to microservice based architecture and developing a new white label product 'MDO FUSE'. I had regular discussion with other engineers, architect, product owners and analysts throughout the SDLC.

• Developed and optimised multiple API's within tight deadlines using Spring boot and Java 11.
• Merged, pulled and resolved branches using git, bitbucket and builds using Jenkins.
• Developed unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Used Agile software such as Jira and Confluence.
